Directions

Walking/Driving
Approaching from Ranelagh, the Clinic is 350 yards from the taxi rank at the “triangle” in the centre of Ranelagh and 450 yards from the Luas Station. Going in the direction of Rathmines, you pass under the bridge for the Luas and move into Charleston Rd.

Approaching from Rathmines, you turn onto Castlewood Avenue from the main street in Rathmines at the side of the Swan Shopping Centre. The Clinic is less than 400 yards from this corner, going in the direction of Ranelagh.

Driving from the City/Canal, however, you cannot make this turn to the left onto Castlewood Avenue at the side of the Swan Centre in Rathmines. On crossing the Canal bridge at Portobello therefore, it is best not to drive straight onto Rathmines Rd Lower, but turn immediately left down the canal and take the next immediate turn to the right after 20 yards. This brings you onto Mountpleasent Avenue which brings you straight to Belgrave Square in less than half a mile.

Parking
The best parking facility is around Belgrave Square where there are usually spaces every day after 9.00am. Parking discs must be displayed. There are two ticket machines, one at the north west corner (Rathmines side) of the Square and another on the east (Palmerstown Rd) side, opposite the entrance to the park. There is one parking space in the courtyard in front of the Clinic. This is kept particularly for elderly patients, patients with a disability and parents with small children. Please use it when free. Other spaces may be available up Charleston Avenue( the road beside the Methodist church) and on Mount Pleasant Avenue.
