Occupational Health:
The Clinic carries out an occupational health service for a number of local businesses and firms. The service includes carrying out pre-employment medicals, assessing employees who have had prolonged periods of absenteeism or injuries in the work place, giving vaccinations and advising companies on issues of occupational health. View the National Irish Safety Organisation website for more information. Reports are promptly returned to the employer. The Clinic has the advantage of being placed centrally in the South Dublin area with easy access by public transport. View Map and Directions.
Medico-legal Reporting:
The Clinic has been providing a service as an independent medical advisor to a number of large and small companies over the past 13 years. Clients are referred by the various companies that are generally defendants in civil action cases, for a medico-legal assessment. The subsequent medical reports contribute to the formation of a legal opinion and are presented in court if there hasn’t been a legal settlement. Again easy access to the Clinic by the public and the proximity of the Clinic to the four Courts, facilitates this service.
The clinic provides a medico-legal reporting service to it’s own patients also. This is in line with most general practice services, where the patient is usually the plaintiff.
